Things to know before our first meeting!

Thanks for choosing to work with me! I am excited about the opportunity to represent you. Here are some things you need to know before our first meeting:

Locations

Marietta office

I am located at 2501 E. Piedmont Road, Suite 106, Marietta, Georgia, 30062. The building is a two-story gray building across the parking lot from the Zama Mexican restaurant and directly beside the Primrose School of East Cobb at Sprayberry. You will park in the parking lot in front of the building, walk in underneath the black awning labeled “2501”, and walk down the hallway to the door on the left, which reads “Suites 103-108”. In that hallway, I am in the second office on the left.

Woodstock office

I am located at 238 River Park North Drive, Woodstock, Georgia 30188.  The building is a brick one-story building at the back of the office park on River Park North Drive. From Holly Springs Parkway, you will turn onto River Park Boulevard, and then turn right onto River Park North Drive (by the fire station). Follow that road to the back of the office park, to the building labeled 238. Go inside the main entrance, and someone will be there to greet you shortly.

What to bring

If you have old documents (will, trust, etc.) you would like me to review, bring those. I also generally need contact information for people that you wish to name in your documents. If you have any documentation you believe is unique to your situation (a prenuptial agreement, LLC operating agreement, etc.). If you don’t bring everything you need to that first meeting, I can always get it later.

Decisions to make before the first meeting

Generally, think about who you would like to make financial and health care decisions for you if you cannot. Also, think about where you would like your assets to pass upon your death, as well as who would be in charge of facilitating that (the Executor or Trustee). If you have minor children, consider who you would like to raise them if something happened to you, as well as who would handle their money if something happened to you. We will discuss those roles in detail.

I look forward to meeting you!
