Generally, please arrive as close to the scheduled time of our signing as possible. I typically have signings scheduled back-to-back in order to accommodate the witnesses. The signing normally takes 30 minutes or less.

If you are aware of changes to your documents (a typo, etc.), please let me know before the signing if possible. I will have your documents ready to sign when you arrive, it makes it easier on everyone if we have the final versions ready when you arrive.

If you are executing a power of attorney and/or a health care directive, we will walk through the decisions you wish to make and initial while you are at the meeting. You are welcome to bring your draft copies if you made notes on them, but that’s not required.
